The scoop: Brunch Gang has already had great brunches at Hundred Acres’ sister restaurants — Five Points and Cookshop — so I was super excited to brunch at Hundred Acres. Walking into Hundred Acres at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon, I thought we would be OK without reservations, but there was still a 25+ minute wait. Luckily they have a spacious bar area where it’s first come, first serve.
A series of French doors open up to the quiet section of MacDougal St. The front area is decently sized, yet warm and cozy, and it can get loud and noisy.
