Location: Lower East Side, 133 Essex St. (between Stanton St. & Rivington St.)
The scoop: I’ve heard that Sons of Essex serves a good brunch, so I always had this place in the back of my mind. We were looking for a place on the Lower East Side. I decided it was finally time to try brunch at Sons of Essex. As we approached the restaurant, the word “BRUNCH” was written on the sidewalk in chalk. How inviting, brunch was exactly what we wanted at this time! As we walked into the restaurant, we noticed that the front looks like a deli where they sell coffee and other pastries.
